STRATEGIES FOR RELIGIOUS CONFLICT RESOLUTION IN INDONESIA: A CASE STUDY OF THE JA’FARIYAH SHI’A MINORITY IN TERNATE

This study aims to describe and analyse the relationship between religious groups, societies, governments, as well strategies for managing conflict, with a case of Ja'fariyah Shi'a minority group in Moya, Ternate. The community led by Nawawi Husni, according Jema'ah Ahlul Bait Indonesia (IJABI), is considered have different teachings practices judged be inconsistent general. In addition having layered complexity, existence this also misguided, so it often target intolerance other even local government. Through qualitative approach using sociological perspective, results revealed that silent (non-reactive) attitude responding various rejections misconceptions about its not passive.
